The ASUS ROG Strix G is a sleek gaming laptop. Although it is heavy, it weighs almost 6.3 pounds or 2.85 kg. A beautiful laptop with a smooth finish coupled with RGB lightning at the base.

The performance of the laptop is great. A 9th Gen Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM and a GTX 1650. Enough power to run a lot of AAA title games on medium to high settings.

So basically, one of the best laptops for Football Manager and other games. It has 1TB PCIe SSD. Fast enough for boot-up your laptop quickly, load games and launch applications.

When it comes to the display. It is stunning and vibrant. A 15.6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) with above colour accuracy and reproduction. The screen is also bright enough to be used outdoors and viewing angles are great too.

Battery life, on the other hand, is below average. It is only able to last 4-5 hours under consistent use. Looking at the laptop you would expect 8 hours. But, because of its powerful hardware and small battery capacity that is the best it can do.

Still, the ASUS ROG Strix g is one of the best laptops that can run Football Manager. Aside from that, it also has great performance to play AAA title games on medium to high settings. And you shouldn’t forget about its light and thin form factor.

Lenovo IdeaPad L340

Lenovo Ideapad L340 Gaming Laptop, 15.6 Inch FHD (1920 X 1080) IPS Display, Intel Core i5-9300H Processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB Nvme SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, Windows 10, 81LK00HDUS, Black

A beautiful piece of machinery. The Lenovo IdeaPad L340 is a capable affordable laptop to play football manager. It is one of those laptops that have gaming hardware. But, do not look like a gaming laptop.

It’s an all-black laptop with a touch of blue. The keyboard and logo have blue accents. The build quality is also not bad. Made from hard plastic with a little bit of flex. When it comes to weight, it is approximately 4.8 pounds or 2.2 kg.

The display is a 15.6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS. It is not the best display out there. Colour accuracy and reproduction are below average. So colours look washed out. Plus, it is not a bright display. Viewing angles though are decent.

When it comes to battery life. It’s able to last 4-5 hours on a single charge. Not so impressive. But the best part is the fast charging capabilities it has. You can charge it to up to 80 per cent in an hour. That leaves you with more battery power.

When it comes to performance. The Lenovo IdeaPad L340 has a 9th Gen Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM and a GTX 1650. For a budget gaming laptop, those are some impressive hardware.

You will be able to play demanding games on high settings. And so Football Manager won’t be a problem. The processor can also achieve high clock speeds when things get demanding.

The RAM slot is a single channel so unfortunately, you can’t take advantage of dual-channel memory. The storage device is a 512GB NVMe SSD. Enough space to store your files and games whiles at the same time giving you fast boot-up speeds.

Overall, the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 might not be the best laptop. But, it is certainly one of the best budget laptops for Football Manager.

Dell G3

Dell Gaming Laptop - 15in FHD, 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H CPU, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD+1TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050TI, Windows 10 Home, Black - G3579-7989BLK-PUS (Renewed)

Hexa-core 8th Gen i7 Processor. Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti. The Dell G3 has powerful hardware to not only play Football Manager. But, handle AAA title games on low to medium settings.

The only that is stopping the Dell G3 from reaching its full potential is its display.

A 15.6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) that is not bright at all. Because of this, you will have a difficult time using it outdoors. Indoors you will be fine. Moreover, the colour accuracy and reproduction are a little below average.

Fortunately, that is the only bad thing about the Dell G3. Now for the good stuff.

It is sleek and has a decent battery life for a laptop. The finish is a smooth greyish black paint job with no fancy accents. When it comes to battery life. It can last 6-7 hours under consistent use. Most gaming laptops last 2-3 hours. Impressive, right?

When it comes to performance. You have an 8th Gen Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti. The processor is a high-performance six-core CPU which is only six per cent slower than the 9th Gen i7. In short, you have a powerful processor.

Also as mentioned above, the GTX 1050 Ti is a capable graphics card that can handle AAA title games on low to medium settings.

For the storage space, you have a 256GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. Windows are kept on the SSD so you can enjoy fast boot-up speeds. And the 1TB HDD serves as a place to keep your large files.

Overall, the Dell G3 is a powerful budget-friendly mid-range laptop for Football Manager. Plus, you get great battery life for a gaming laptop.

Pros

Lightweight

Decent Battery Life

MSI GF63 Thin

MSI GF63 Thin 9SCX-615 15.6' Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i5-9300H, NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti, 8GB, 512GB NVMe SSD, Win10

The MSI GF63 Thin is an entry-level gaming laptop. Meant for those who like to play casual games. Just like the name implies it is thin and light. This laptop weighs approximately 1.86 kg and it’s less than an inch thick. Light and thin enough to carry around.

Let’s talk about performance.

This gaming laptop has an 9th Gen Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM. The Intel Core i5 is a quad-core and high-performance processor. Clock speeds are high and it will be able to handle the demands of Football Manager.

The graphics card is an NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti card. A capable graphics card that can handle AAA title games on low to medium settings.

The display is a 15.6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS. Colour accuracy and reproduction is below average. So don’t expect the screen to look vibrant or for colours to pop. It is also not that bright.

Build quality is above average. MSI took the approach of making the display lid and keyboard brushed aluminium. Whiles the rest of the body is plastic. Because of this, the display lid has little to no flex on it.

Battery life is below average. This thing can last 3-4 hours under consistent use.

Still, the MSI GF63 is more than enough to play Football Manager. It is also one of the lightest gaming laptops around.

Pros

Great Price To Performance Ratio

Lightweight

Affordable

Cons

Below Average Battery Life

Acer Aspire E15

Acer Aspire E 15 Laptop, 15.6' Full HD, 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U, GeForce MX150, 8GB RAM Memory, 256GB SSD, E5-576G-5762

If you are on a serious budget you should consider the Acer Aspire E15. A cheap laptop for Football Manager that will get the job done. Keep in mind that, since it is a cheap laptop there will certainly be some compromises.

The build quality and display are the compromises. The Acer Aspire E15 has a cheap build quality. It is not a metal build but a plastic build.

There is quite a bit of flex at the keyboard area and display. This makes you think if it will last. All you have to do is keep the laptop well. Plus, even though the plastic feels cheap. It is still strong enough.

Now for the display. It is a 15.6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080). It is not impressive by any means. The display is not bright and so outdoor use will be difficult. Viewing angles are also not great.

Now for where the Acer Aspire E15 gets it right.

The performance is the first. For a budget laptop, the Acer Aspire is a capable performer. Not as fast as other gaming laptops. But, faster than a lot of budget laptops in its price range.

It is powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM and an NVIDIA MX150. This is enough to play casual games on medium details.

So Football Manager will run without any problems. AAA title gaming, on the other hand, will be unplayable. The MX150 is an entry-level gaming card. So don’t expect high FPS on AAA title games.

It also comes with a 256GB SSD. So you can expect fast boot-up speeds, loading of games and launching of applications.

The battery life is also decent. It has enough power to last 8 hours under consistent use.

Overall, the Acer Aspire E15 is a cheap laptop with the best hardware in its price range. One of the best budget laptops for Football Manager.

Pros

Great Battery Life

Affordable

Cons

Laptop Buying Guide In Getting The Best Laptop For Football Manager

CPU/Processor

Always get the latest generation of processors for the best results. In the case of Intel, look for processors that have H or HQ. The H or HQ are high-performance processors which are quad-core or hexa-core. FM 2019 is a CPU-intensive game and so having an i5 or i7 with H or HQ will run it very well.

You could also get an i3 but it won’t be good as the i5s or i7s. The U are also good but not as powerful as the Hs or HQs. For AMD processors, Ryzen 5 and 7 are good choices.

Graphics cards

An integrated graphics card is fine since FM 2019 is more CPU-intensive than GPU-intensive. Dedicated graphics though will be a much better option. The Nvidia MX150 is an entry-level graphics card and you find it in a lot of budget laptops.

The takeaway is that, if you are okay in watching matches in 2D then an integrated graphics card is OK but for 3D matches dedicated graphics cards will give you the best result.

RAM

RAM size of at least 8 GB. The more the RAM is less time it takes to load the database. This improves the overall speed of the game.

Conclusion

If you want to find a good laptop for Football Manager stick to these 3 and you will be able to find one.

That’s it for the best laptops for Football Manager.
