The Acer Aspire E15 is the best cheap laptop for programming and coding. It might not be the fastest or the most powerful. But, it will get the job done. Great for programmers and students on a tight budget.

All this is possible thanks to its 8th Gen Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM and NVIDIA MX150. The MX150 is an entry-level graphics card that can handle casual games well. So you practically have a gaming laptop. But only for casual gaming.

But, demanding games will either not be playable or you to reduce the graphics settings to the lowest. The Intel Core i5 is not bad at all too. It is a big step-up from the previous generations. And will be able to handle certain demanding tasks.
